MaryJane's Ideabook Review

MaryJane's Ideabook, Cookbook, Lifebook: For the Farmgirl in All of Usis a book worth taking a look at if you have ever daydreamed about living a "simpler" life. It is a gorgeous book, full of photos, recipes and many stories about MaryJane Butter's life and her family. MaryJane is the lady behind MaryJane's Farm and her backpacking food.

From growing vegetables, living an organic life and getting out in the wilderness she touches it all. I think what really hit it for me is she speaks from a woman's voice, having experienced it all. And yet, you still get the feeling after reading it that farmgirls can still be women with indulgences.

The recipes alone are worth the book, add in the other homey crafts and you have a book worth owning. It is nly a bit about the outdoors, yet covers so much that applies to many ladies who loves the outdoors.
